YOU OUGHTA BE IN PICTURES

In the summer of 2001, Lighthouse Church held a Vacation Bible School called “You Oughta Be in Pictures"—a theater workshop where children could learn acting skills in various settings.   As each activity was designed to teach the gospel and Bible truths, the kids had the opportunity to write their own skits which they performed on stage.  Each skit was filmed and premiered several weeks later for all the children and their parents.  The grand finale was an old-time movie production (“The Sheriff and the Zombies”) cast with the entire ensemble of children who came to the Vacation Bible School.
